The Pioneers Roundtable: The Reformation of Liturgical Dance
February 19 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Never in the history of liturgical dance have this many pioneers united to codify the future of our craft.
Join us for The Pioneers Roundtable: A Legacy Project, a “living archive” hosted by Apostle Dr. Sabrina McKenzie—architect of the Liturgical Dance Day legislative federal bill, Founder of Dancing Preachers International and the International Dance Commission (IDC)—in coordination with Co-Host Apostle Dr. Elizabeth Hairston, PhD.
This is more than a meeting; it is a global mandate. We are gathering the world’s foremost trailblazers to bridge the gap between the altar and the academy. Together, we will establish the “Gold Standard” for liturgical dance, ensuring our sacred movement is preserved through academic excellence, somatic intelligence, and biblical protocol.
The Mission:
- Codify the Craft: Establishing elite resources and curricula for the next generation.
- Secure the Legacy: Integrating liturgical dance into global university and clinical frameworks.
- Global Unity: Unifying voices from the indigenous roots of Africa to the disciplined aesthetics of Asia and the academic reformation of the West.
