August 11 @ 7:30 pm 8:30 pm UTC-4

The Sacred Dance Guild continues to offer Sacred Sunday experiences monthly – generally on the 2nd Sunday of the month and generally at 7:30 pm Eastern time! This program began during the pandemic and continues now because we CAN, not because we MUST! Sessions are intimate, interactive and informative offerings that are free to the participants, gifted to the Sacred Dance Guild “village” by the presenter(s) and coordinated by the SDG as a way to CONNECT us one to another! NOTE: time showing is Eastern – DO check time in your local time zone!!

You can register for the August session by email to pres@sacreddanceguild.org with “Sacred Sunday – August 2024” in the Subject line.

JOIN us this month with Diana Turner-Forte who will take us on another unique journey of discover! This one hour session will be devoted to the divinity of Mary as Holy Mother and will include simple movements, stillness, and take-away activities for personal exploration.

DIANA is a sacred dancer, holistic health practitioner,  and writer.  Her interest in sacred and liturgical dance, ritual and celebration of the sacredness of the body as a vehicle for prayer spans most of her life. She conducts private, small group classes, and workshops that enable participants to explore the synergistic wholeness of body, mind, and soul through dance and to discover their innate healing power. This has led to further explorations of the Divine Feminine and awakened interest in exploring long-forgotten aspects of the sacred feminine creative experience throughout history. Her blog Wonderfully Human is a collection of reflections on the intersection between spirit, the human form, and nature.  Ms. Turner-Forte’s essays have been published in Stance on Dance, Universal Life Magazine, Kosmos Journal, and other periodicals. Her most recent contribution, “God’s in Me, Too!” was published in Experiencing God: Faith Narratives of Episcopalians. She’s professed in the Third Order Society of St. Francis (TSSF) and resides in North Carolina.

We are blessed to have Diana gifting us her presence with a generosity of spirit that flows through the Sacred Dance Guild village!
