Sacred Sunday – Global Water Dances with Vannia Ibarguen

May 4, 2025 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

The Sacred Dance Guild continues to offer Sacred Sunday experiences monthly – generally on the 2nd Sunday of the month and at 7:30 pm Eastern time! A program that began during the pandemic and continues because we CAN, not because we MUST! These sessions are intimate, interactive offerings that are free to participants, gifted to the Sacred Dance Guild “village” by the presenter and coordinated by the SDG as a way to CONNECT us one to another around the globe!  NOTE: This month we are the FIRST Sunday! Time showing Eastern – DO check time your local time zone!!

To register send email to pres@sacreddanceguild.org with “Sacred Sunday – Vannia Ibarguen ” in the subject line. The Zoom link will be sent to you the day before the session.

This experiential session will introduce the participants to the process that the Global Water Dances project employs in creating and sharing movement, finding the inspiration through the body to express the many aspects of our relationship to the elements, and in particular Water. Through movement and discussion, Vannia will encourage the participants to imagine how they can become involved in growing this movement of environmentally-inspired dance. The participants will be able to learn the Global Dance, which is a “movement choir” to be danced on June 14th by hundreds of individuals, as part of the activities for Global Water Dances 2025. Join us!
