December 10 @ 7:30 pm 8:30 pm UTC-4

The Sacred Dance Guild continues to offer Sacred Sunday experiences monthly – generally on the 2nd Sunday of the month and generally at 7:30 pm Eastern time! A program that began during the pandemic and now continues because we CAN, not because we MUST! These sessions are intimate, interactive and information offerings that are free to the participants, gifted to the Sacred Dance Guild “village” by the presenter and coordinated by the SDG as a way to CONNECT us one to another! NOTE: time showing is Eastern – DO check time in your local time zone!!

To register send email to pres@sacreddanceguild.org with “Sacred Sunday Fusion Dance” in the subject line. The Zoom link will be sent to you the day before the session.

Our December Sacred Sunday takes us on another journey of discovery with Anna Mayta. Anna offers:

” Let your vision be world embracing rather than confined to your own self.” Baha’u’llah, Baha’i faith.

I am so excited to offer my fusion dance program where I bring together conceptual movement ideas and steps of African dance, Classical Indian, Modern, Latin and Flamenco coming together as one. We are all connected and dance brings us together as one. You are welcome to observe and I will modify the steps so you can dance while sitting on a chair or standing up and groove. It’s important to understand the sacredness of you and be a witness to your own needs during my sacred dance offering. I look forward to having this multicultural sacred dance moment with you all. Let’s fly, let’s dance and create magic together.

“The dance is strong magic. The dance is a spirit. It turns the body to liquid steel. It makes it vibrate like a guitar. The body can fly without wings. It can sing without voice. The dance is strong magic: The dance is life.” — Pearl Primus
