Sacred Sundays - FilmFest - "Kairos" with Helena Froehlich

The Sacred Dance Guild continues to offer our Sacred Sunday program. Most Sundays we host an on line gathering to be “Socially Present” while “Physically Distant“! These live from our living room sessions are free, informal, intimate and interactive sharings and are open to participants who want to connect in this way.
For the month of January we will be focusing on sacred dancers as “Earthkeepers”. For our first of the month “FilmFest”, Helena Froehlich will be taking us on an adventure! We’ll watch the amazing film detailed below, take time at the table to reflect, ask questions, chat and share whatever arises! As always – a front row seat for all in this theatre!!

Call of Kairos is a mesmerizing dance theater multi-media experience. It is a collective creation of dance , music , theater and film. Helena directed the choreography and was involved in every aspect of the creation co-creating the story, film, costume, music… Featuring more then 25 dancers and musicians, it included, a finely edited film as a back-drop. To tell the different aspects of the story, we used several styles of dance: ballet, modern dance and ball-room dancing with fabulous dancers, a professional clown and wonderful musicians.
Call of Kairos – The Healer emerges out of the primal forest. Her incantation offers, to anyone open enough to hear and with courage to follow, the call of an authentic life and her call to heal our primal world. In a castle world far away, The Daughter longs for her true self and for meaning beyond self. Across time and space they find each other. Chances are taken. Choices are made.
The Sacred Dance Guild is blessed to have Helena gifting her presence with us leading this Sacred Sunday session. During this time when our lives have changed in ways we couldn’t have imagined, continuing our personal, collective and global mind/body/spirit connection is so important. We are grateful for those who lead us on these journeys of discovery as we dance on waves of grace together. We will be using ZOOM for Sunday’s sessions.
