Mettler Studios' Winter Creative Dance Retreat

This event is designed to give participants an opportunity to work in depth with the principles of free movement expression developed by Barbara Mettler. we will focus on establishing a balance between individual freedom and group desire for unity. Participants will be challenged to grow creatively.
Retreat Leader: Griff Goehring has taught creative dance since 1972. She was a member of Barbara Mettler’s professional groups and served as Mettler’s teaching assistant in the late 1970s and early 1980s. She led her own performance groups from 2009-2013 with support from Mettler Studios in order to explore the relationship between creative process and performance.
