"Spirits Moving" - Workout and Play!

All are welcome to the “Sprits Moving” workout and play on Thursday evenings 7:30 – 8:30 pm – beginning May 21, 2015 through June 25th – sharing breath and movement disciplines, body prayers, and play for the integration of mind, body and spirit.
Facilitator Kathy Hamilton-Vargo says “These can yield greater joy, health, creativity and power for the work of love, peacemaking, justice, and faith in our injured world.”. Kathy has developed these practices over years of research and practice, including the ancient Chinese practice of Qigong. Kathy has been a member of the Sacred Dance Guild for many years and brings a breadth of experience to share.
Participants should wear clothes they can move freely in and bring soft sled (like tai chi or ballet) tennis shoes. There are a few yoga mats that can be borrowed or participants can bring their own mat or towel for floor exercises.
No previous experience necessary – people of all levels and health welcome! South Side Presbyterian is at S. 20th and Sarah Streets.
