Egypt, Al-khem, is the land of Alchemy and transformation. The energy just naturally lends itself to a shift. By connecting to the powerful energy of Egypt it is easy to Dance the Earth’s primordial rhythms.
The Alchemy of Dance is the ancient dance of the Serpent Goddess. She teaches us the ancient ways of transmuting energy through our bodies using rhythm and primordial movements. Learn how to reconnect with the earth’s rhythm using dance as a spiritual practice.
In the Dance workshops various methods such as initiation, kinetics as well as transmission are used to achieve this connection. Because the movements themselves are very basic to our nature anyone can learn them, you need not be a dancer or have any dance experience. For those who are already dancers it is an opportunity to add a deeper level to your practice.
In addition to the dance classes there are lectures and sessions aimed at bringing you to a deeper understanding of the wisdom of the Divine Feminine. We delve into the realm of the Serpent Goddess (Hathor-Sekhmet) and her journey, the Heroine’s Journey. All are important aspects of the Universal Dancer.

The intensive will take place at The Centre for Sacred Arts in Zamalek-Cairo, Egypt over the Easter holiday. Workshops and lectures are schedule in the afternoons and evenings leaving mornings free for participants to explore Cairo.
The fee for the Intensive is $350 US ($300 if paid by March 13th). The fee includes classes, welcome dinner and lectures only. It does not include airfare, sightseeing, accommodation, meals or extras.
